‘Tis the Season in Langley, WA

‘Tis the season to partake in the holiday sparkle of Langley, WA!

Why not leave the terrors of mall parking to the next guy and take an opportunity to slow down and enjoy your holiday shopping? What if you could turn your holiday shopping into an experience you won’t forget and maybe you’ll even create a new holiday tradition? Treat yourself and your loved ones as you stay on beautiful Whidbey Island and #shoplocal at Langley’s inspired shops. I can’t think of a more relaxing and special way to start the holiday season than to slow down on Whidbey Island and partake in the creative sparkle of Langley. Beginning the weekend after Thanksgiving, the town is transformed into a bright, holiday destination. Artists decorate downtown Langley’s doors and windows with festive folly as only Langley can.

Langley WA at Holidays

Beginning right after Thanksgiving this charming seaside village is transformed, and it all begins with the Lighting of Langley…

Lighting of Langley

Langley sparkles for the holidays with the annual Lighting of Langley community celebration at 4 p.m. Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Langley Park at Second and Anthes. Enjoy singing carols, sipping hot cider and cocoa, and Santa! This annual tree-lighting kicks off the holiday season in the Village by the Sea.

Country Christmas at the Fair

Shop for unique, one of a kind handcrafted gifts and collectibles by local artists and crafters at the Whidbey Island Fair Grounds, in the Coffman Building. There is fun for the little ones too!  You can meet Santa, indulge in face painting, and a Kid’s Maker Space has lots of creative activities.  Come out and browse the boutique for your holiday gift giving. Lunch is also available for purchase.
