‘Tis the season to partake in the holiday sparkle of Langley, WA!
Why not leave the terrors of mall parking to the next guy and take an opportunity to slow down and enjoy your holiday shopping? What if you could turn your holiday shopping into an experience you won’t forget and maybe you’ll even create a new holiday tradition? Treat yourself and your loved ones as you stay on beautiful Whidbey Island and #shoplocal at Langley’s inspired shops. I can’t think of a more relaxing and special way to start the holiday season than to slow down on Whidbey Island and partake in the creative sparkle of Langley. Beginning the weekend after Thanksgiving, the town is transformed into a bright, holiday destination. Artists decorate downtown Langley’s doors and windows with festive folly as only Langley can.

Beginning right after Thanksgiving this charming seaside village is transformed, and it all begins with the Lighting of Langley…
Lighting of Langley
Langley sparkles for the holidays with the annual Lighting of Langley community celebration at 2-5 p.m. Saturday, November 27, 2021 behind Blue Sound Music on the lawn on Second Street. Enjoy a photo booth, sipping hot cocoa, cookies and a socially distanced Santa in a bubble! This annual tree-lighting kicks off the holiday season in the Village by the Sea.
Country Christmas at the Fair
Shop for unique, one of a kind handcrafted gifts and collectibles by local artists and crafters at the Whidbey Island Fair Grounds, in the Coffman Building. A percentage of proceeds are earmarked for local youth scholarships. Come out and browse the boutique for your holiday gift giving.

Holly Jolly Holiday Parade
Langley hosts its annual holiday parade in December. Musicians, youth groups, pets, families and floats will march up and down First and Second Street. Grab your jacket and a cup of hot cocoa and enjoy this jolly parade. You might see old time cars, tractors, animals, and don’t miss the grand finale with Santa on a fire engine! Check out Visit Langley Chamber of Commerce for the updated date and time.
