When you’re looking for quiet, woodland gardens to stroll, Meerkerk Gardens is there for you. Open 365 days a year, this park is filled with Rhododendron and other blooming beauties that will surely inspire you this spring and throughout the year.
With two miles of trails to carry you though all the outdoor rooms and peek-a-boo views of Holmes Harbor, you’ll be happy to grab a bench and sit for a bit. There are many thoughtful spots to take a pause and enjoy the beauty.
If you spend a little time on their website you’ll be amazed at the beauty of their bloom season photos and you may even learn to recognize a Rhododendron vs. an azalea. If you’re interested in more details, you can take a class, starting in February, and become a part of their Master Class series. You’ll also learn that April can be a good time to visit Cherry Tree Alley. Marvelous!
