From Bellingham, WA or Vancouver, B.C.:

Ferry tips
In the summer and holidays always plan ahead for wait times. Don’t cut in the waiting line—this is taken very seriously! Check out VesselWatch or the WSDOT app to see the ferry lines. The ferry has restrooms and a snack bar. Be sure to keep your eyes open for whales!
Other options
If you don’t want to drive or are meeting someone with a car, ask us about other options such as the Airport Shuttle from SeaTac or small flights to the island. We highly recommend a car on the island, but we do have a local taxi service and a bus service. A Home On The Harbor is with in walking distance of shops—and steps from the the water.
